Taps, faucets and shower heads are products we interact with every day, but understanding the significance of new designs in this area can be difficult. When German brand Axor launched a new bathroom collection, it asked Disegno Works to help tell the story.
To mark the release of Axor's new collection by Barber and Osgerby, the world-renowned industrial design studio, Disegno Works created a short film that could explain the thinking behind the range. Interviewing studio founders Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, Disegno Works storyboarded, shot and edited a film that concisely and engagingly told the story of Axor's new range.
Exploring themes such as tradition, new technology and the development of tactile products, the film was created for Axor's international marketing managers, helping their internal teams to quickly and intuitively understand the values behind Barber and Osgerby's new designs.
The film was also created to be a flexible resource for Axor, shot in such a way that it can also be used for external consumer promotion, drawing viewers into Barber and Osgerby's studio through models, drawings and footage from its everyday working practice.
