Wes Anderson: The Archives is the first fully authorised monograph exploring Wes Anderson’s career in cinema. Disegno Works edited the book, and oversaw all printing and production for this landmark title.
The book was developed by London’s Design Museum to accompany its major touring exhibition of the same name. The book was produced in close collaboration with the museum’s curators and Anderson himself, drawing on his extensive archives to explore his working practice.
We helped the museum develop the book’s editorial direction, as well as editing and subediting all commissioned texts. Alongside long-form essays and short observation pieces, we edited all of the book’s featured interviews, including those with actors such as Tilda Swinton, Jeffrey Wright, Owen Wilson and Scarlett Johansson.
The Design Museum commissioned us to support its publishing team across the book’s development, sourcing print and paper quotes, managing production schedules, and overseeing translation for a French language edition - all developed within planned budgets and strict deadlines.
The book launched to coincide with the opening of Wes Anderson: The Archives at the Design Museum in November 2025, and is now available in international book stores.
