For ten years, Disegno Works has produced The Goldsmiths' Review for The Goldsmiths' Company, a historic livery company chartered in 1327 - a decade-long relationship built on understanding an institution with centuries of history and helping it speak to a contemporary readership.
Our work spans art direction, editing, production, print and paper specification, and mailing: the full production cycle of a major institutional publication, handled end to end rather than in pieces.
Over ten years, that's meant evolving the Review's design gradually rather than all at once - updating it to a modern visual language while keeping it recognisably the Company's own, reflecting both its readers and its contemporary ethos without breaking from its long history.
A decade in, The Goldsmiths' Review stands as one of Disegno Works' longest-running client relationships - proof of what sustained editorial partnership can do for an institutional publication.
