Universal Design Studio closed out 2025 with work spanning hospitality, culture, retail and workplace - a breadth that made summarising the year in a single object a real editorial challenge. Disegno Works created Assemblage, an end-of-year visual publication, to meet it.
Our role covered the publication's art direction and editorial flow: establishing a visual language flexible enough to hold hospitality interiors, cultural installations, retail environments and workplace design side by side, without losing the studio's distinct point of view across such different project types.
Beyond the page, Disegno Works oversaw print strategy, paper selection and distribution, producing a considered physical object rather than a simple project round-up - one intended to be kept, not filed away.
Assemblage reflects Universal Design Studio's own thoughtful, collaborative approach back at them: a publication as carefully made as the work it documents.
